"Kind of useful, but not for my CNC"
I bought this thinking it would work fine with my controller, and to be fair, parts of it did seem easy to use at first. But the post processor was a mess for my setup. I spent hours trying to tweak things, and even when it looked like I was getting somewhere, the cuts still came out bad. Support replied, which I appreciated, but it was mostly generic links that didn’t really help. I can see how this might be great for someone else, but for me it was basically unusable.

"Support felt painfully slow"
I ran into a problem with my license and sent a message to support, expecting it to be sorted quickly. Instead, it took days before I heard anything back, and when they finally replied, the answer was so basic that I had to follow up again.
By the time I got a proper response, I’d already lost a lot of time on my project. Maybe they’re short-staffed or just backed up with tickets, I don’t know, but it’s really frustrating when you’ve paid for software and can’t get help when you actually need it.

"Not sure why it keeps crashing"
I’m confused because this software keeps freezing on my PC for no clear reason. I’ve already lost work twice, even after I thought I saved it. It’s really frustrating when I’m just trying to get a job finished and suddenly everything locks up.

"Community support wasn’t as helpful as I hoped"
I reached out to the community for help, but i didn’t get much out of it. A few people responded, but most of the replies were either vague or didn’t really address my issue. Compared to other communities I’ve used where people jump in with detailed suggestions, this felt a bit frustrating and kind of like I was on my own.

"Way too expensive, especially after the wait"
I don’t think it was worth the price. It felt way too expensive for what you actually get, and having to stand around waiting in a long queue just made it even more frustrating. Not something I’d pay for again.

"A Whole Maze Disguised as a Website"
I tried using the site and software, it felt like I’d accidentally signed up for a scavenger hunt run by Captain Confusing. Basic things that should’ve taken a minute somehow turned into a whole mission. I kept clicking around like Detective Lost, just trying to figure out where anything was. Definitely not what I’d call normal-user friendly

"Solid tools, but a little slow for my taste"
Vectric does what I need for most jobs, and I can’t really complain about the results. That said, I personally prefer software that feels a bit quicker and more streamlined, so the workflow here can get on my nerves sometimes. Simple changes seem to take more clicks than they should, and moving between steps isn’t always as smooth as I’d like. It still gets the job done, just not as fast or as cleanly as I was hoping.

"It works well enough for importing..."
It works well enough for importing, but the whole experience feels a bit clunky. Exporting isn't always as smooth as I'd like, so it's okay overall, just not something I'd call super polished.

"Setting up the toolpaths was way..."
Setting up the toolpaths was way more frustrating than it should’ve been. They kept acting up, and the previews didn’t even match the actual cuts. How are you supposed to trust it when what you see isn’t what you get? Ended up wasting most of my afternoon trying to sort it out

"Not great for real 3D modeling"
I really wanted this to work for my 3D modeling needs, but it felt limited once I got past the basics. It seems fine if you’re just doing simple relief-style work, but the minute I needed more control, I started getting frustrated.
Moving objects around and editing shapes never felt very natural to me. I kept running into small limitations that made everything take longer, after dealing with enough tools that overpromise, I’m kind of tired of having to work around stuff like this.

For the price, I expected the 3D features to be a lot stronger. It might be okay for basic CNC projects, but for actual 3D modeling work, it just wasn’t what I needed.

"I bought the software and immediately ran into..."
I bought the software and immediately ran into issues trying to activate the license. It kept telling me the license had already been used, even though this was literally my first time installing it. I reached out to support, but they weren’t really much help, and I ended up wasting an entire evening trying to sort it out. Super frustrating experience

"I needed some help with my post..."
I needed some help with my post processor, but the support experience was slow and not all that helpful. I felt like I got passed around a bit, and in the end I still had to figure most of it out on my own.

"So Much for a Simple Upgrade"
I tried upgrading my vectric software, thinking it would be a quick and painless process, silly me. The pricing was confusing, and even after paying, I still had trouble getting the new version to actually work properly. Support eventually replied, but the responses felt copy-and-paste, which was super helpful in the way that it wasn’t. For what it costs, I really expected the upgrade to be smoother. i’m disappointed.

"I’ve been using Vectric for a while..."
I’ve been using Vectric for a while now, the updates feel really slow. For what it costs, I guess I expected more than just the occasional small tweak—actually, not small exactly, but just not enough to feel like much is changing.
It kind of feels like you’re waiting ages for features that other software already has. I do still like parts of the program, but the pace of updates is frustrating and makes it harder to feel good about paying for it again.

"The docs aren’t exactly easy to follow"
I picked up Vectric and I’m not saying the software isn’t good, because it probably is once you get the hang of it. But the documentation really doesn’t make it easy. A lot of the steps feel skipped over, or written like you already know what they’re talking about. I kept ending up on YouTube just to figure out stuff that should’ve been explained better. For what it costs, I didn’t expect the help guides to be this unclear. It’s frustrating, not gonna lie.

"I expected a lot more from the..."
I expected a lot more from the design tools for the price. Even basic edits felt clunky, and working with nodes was way more annoying than it should be. I kept finding myself waiting around for simple layout changes to respond or take effect, which got frustrating fast. It might be fine for lighter use, but for me it just slowed everything down.

"Tutorials are tough to follow"
I had a hard time getting through the tutorials because they kind of jump all over the place and leave out some basic steps. I kept pausing and rewinding just to figure out which button they clicked. For paid software, I expected the help to be a lot clearer. It gets frustrating when you’re new to it.

"Overall, I’ve had good results with..."
Overall, I’ve had good results with the V-carving, and I don’t want to make it sound worse than it is because it does handle most jobs well. That said, smaller details can come out a little rough sometimes, so it’s not perfect. For general use I’m happy enough with it, but if you’re doing really fine detail work, just know you may need to clean things up a bit afterward.

"Tough to get the hang of"
A friend recommended this to me, so I really wanted to like it, but the learning curve hit me fast. I felt overwhelmed early on and had a hard time getting comfortable with it.

"It was okay for simple stuff, I guess..."
It was okay for simple stuff, I guess, but once my project got more complicated, it really started to slow down and hang on me. Toolpaths took way too long, and I had to restart it a few times, which was frustrating when I was just trying to get the job finished. Maybe it works fine for smaller projects, but for what I needed, I don’t think it was worth it.
